Knowing Me Knowing You was the high point of Alan's career so far, incorporating
a radio series, a TV series and a Christmas special. In his time on the radio he
snorted cocaine live on air, hit children, got hipnotised, gambled his and his wife
cars away and had a special show live from the US. To better this, on TV he ate
a cows testicle, had knives thrown at him, kissed a man, insulted a few French people
and generally got away with murder (quite literally, he shot one of his guests).
Unfortunately his time had to end when during his Christmas special he punched the
BBC's head of programmes, Tony Hayers.
The radio series is still available on CD and the TV series and Christmas special
on video.
